Ordering

Review Your Order Carefully
Please review your order carefully before you submit it. When you supply us with a digital image, photo, logo, please follow these guidelines for best results: Send the image exactly as you would like it to appear. As much of your image will be used as possible. Cropping or resizing will only be done if necessary for image to fit within the design at the discretion of the art team. Image should be a minimum of 300 dpi in JPEG or TIFF format. Please also see "Uploaded Material".
If you have any questions about how to enter an order, please call or e-mail us before you place the order. You are responsible for the result if you provide incorrect or incomplete information.

Include All Text to Appear
You must include ALL text you want to appear including punctuation, headings and so forth. If there is any information that will automatically appear on your product we will note that in the product description. Please review the text you enter very carefully before it is submitted. U-design is printing its logo on the back of all stationery items except for the following products; Wedding Invitations, Bar & Bat Mitzvah Invitations, Baby Announcements, Stickers, Address Labels, and Tags.

Changes to Text
We do not make changes or corrections without explicit direction from you via e-mail. We may correct spacing and obvious errors in spelling if they are caught on our end. However, although we do try to catch mistakes, we cannot guarantee that all errors will be noticed. For further details please read further down under "Proofs".

How to Place an Order
You can only place your orders online. You will get an e-mail confirmation within 48 hours of your order placement. You are charged when you place the order.

Requesting Order Changes
We are only able to change or stop an order, which was not put into production yet. If you realized that you made a mistake in your order, please notify us immediately. We will confirm the status of your order, and let you know if a change can be made. Please note that additional fees may be required to make changes after an e-Proof was sent to you. Once an order is in production, changes or cancellations cannot be accommodated. Please check your order carefully prior to submitting it.

Cancellation of an Order
Orders cancelled after receiving the order confirmation and before actual printing incur a $25 cancellation fee.
By purchasing online at U-design.ca, you confirm that you are hereby agreeing to having fully understood all matters relating to orders placed online at U-design.ca. Although we do our best to familiarize our customers with details such as refund policies, it is the responsibility of our clients to familiarize themselves with details, which have all been provided on U-design.ca.

Uploaded Material

You agree not to upload any photograph, image, design, logo, or other content that you do not have a right to make available under any law or that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights of any party. By placing an order on U-design.ca, you agree to indemnify and hold U-design and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, employees, partners and licensors harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of photograph, image, design, or other content that you upload. You also agree not to upload any photograph, image, design, or other content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable.

Proofs

We provide you with a free digital e-Proof (pdf format) of your order prior to actual printing. We also provide you with a helpful checklist to look over with your proof. We stress that we do not proofread. Please take the time to carefully go over the proof you receive before you approve it and sent it back to us via e-mail.
U-design cannot be held responsible for any mistakes that have gone unnoticed by a client during the proof process such as incorrect dates, colors and other details.

Errors

From time to time, despite our best efforts and intentions, errors do happen. When they do, contact us to explain what happened. We may or may not ask you to return the incorrect item or we may ask you to fax or mail us a copy or sample of the product. Should we make an error in your original copy or written instructions, we will replace your personalized item, free of charge, if notified within 48 hours of receipt of your order. We will redo the order as it was initially ordered only. Changes to orders on redos are not possible. We do not offer refunds, exchanges or cancellations under any circumstances but we will gladly correct the order if it was our mistake.
Please do not return your item to us unless we ask you to do so. If you do return it, you will be charged the shipping fee.

Returns

There are no returns or exchanges on personalized items.
As a company that offers personalized products, we propose only 2 types of returns:
1) Products damaged in transit 

2) Delivery of goods that do not match your confirmed order and proof

Refunds

Please note that refunds, or reprints based on approved proofs cannot be done.

By purchasing a product from U-design, you are not granted ownership of the artwork. Ownership and Copyright remains with U-design social stationery & gifts. U-design retains sole ownership of the artwork. Work created for clients may be used as promotional material on U-design.ca, affiliated sites, or E-Newsletters.
